Consultation: Dragon Xanctum offers advice on the care, purchase and sale of animals. We can help you find the right pet for your particular situation and specialize in rare breeds.

Grooming: In shop grooming available Monday to Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and mobile grooming available Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and some evenings (except some holidays, please inquire). Dragon Xanctum offers quality and care when it comes to grooming and can provide everything from practical pet clips to the hottest new cuts, colours, styles and fashion accessories! Pamper your pooch with a day at our spa with such indulgences as our hydro-massage, aromatherapy, hot oil treatments and more. Please book at least 1 week in advance as we can get quite busy, and call for pricing as this can vary depending on the breed, condition of the coat and the difficulty of the dog.

Doggy Daycare: Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our Emerald package includes indoor/outdoor facilities, supervised playtime with selected “buddies” and toys, and feeding if necessary for $10.00 per day. Our Sapphire package features an additional daily walk for $15.00 per day, and our Royal package consists of the Sapphire package plus an additional daily obedience session for $20.00 per day. Grooming and extra activities can be added to any package for an extra charge. Daycare must be booked in advance – Sorry, no drop ins.

Training: We offer various training classes and clinics through Dragon Xanctum and through our affiliate, the Prairie Sharks Working Dog Club. Puppy/Beginner classes are for puppies with their last set of vaccinations, untrained adult dogs and new handlers. These classes feature basic obedience, clicker training, socialization, bonding and of course, fun! Movie training classes are for those that already have basic obedience and wish to expand on these skills for possibly working in the movie industry. These classes feature basic movie skills like marks, point A to B and positions as well as what to expect from the animal wrangler, and what it’s reaally like on the set. $100.00 for 1 class per week for 8 weeks or 2 classes per week for 4 weeks, and maximum 8 dogs per class to ensure plenty of individual attention. Weekend clinics featuring herding, protection sport training, Catahoula breed events and more are also offered throughout the year.
