Animals Available
Dragon Xanctum has a number of ways to experience the joys and responsibilities of pet ownership:
Sale: For those committed to the duties of
ownership. Perspective owners must go through a screening process to ensure the
right animals are placed in the right homes. These animals are generally pure
bred, proven and guaranteed. Sometimes a deposit will be required and the
prospective animal won’t even be born yet, but this is to ensure that people
are serious and that we are only producing as many animals as there are good
loving homes for.
For sale: “Gator” 3 year
old blue leopard male Catahoula (For more information on the breed go to Catahoulas). Neutered
and all vaccinations up to date. Has basic obedience (recently received 4th
place at the NALC California show) and agility skills and has started movie
training. Loves water. Has potential for tracking and has started working
cattle and sheep. OFA Excellent. $650.00 Can. or $550.00 U.S. includes an 8
session obedience class to get you started.
At Stud/For
Sale: “Voodoo” 3 year old blue leopard

Good. Voodoo will be standing at stud for $600.00 Can. or $500.00 U.S. or

placing Voodoo in a working/show home for $800.00 Can. or $700.00 U.S.

drives and is currently at the FR II level.

All of
Dragon Xanctum’s parent stock are proven to work and are fully health tested.
All dogs sold are health tested and appropriate health guarantees for the breed
(such as hips and elbows for Malinois and eyes and hearing for Catahoulas) are
made. Every dog comes with its own puppy pak containing valuable information
about the dog, and Dragon Xanctum offers a rebate to all owners that
spay/neuter (proof of veterinary certificate must be provided) and to those
that title their dogs:
-
$50.00 Can. or $40.00 U.S. for every protection dog
title of different levels up to a maximum of three. A Schutzhund BH, French
Ring Brevet and other equivalents are temperament tests and do not constitute
titles. A level 1 dog would receive one rebate, while two or more level ones
(for example Sch. I and FR I) would still receive one rebate, as the same level
is considered equivalent by the breeder in all protection titles. Only by
actually achieving two different levels (for example FR I and II or Sch. I and
FR II) can a dog receive multiple rebates. Currently the breeder recognizes the
following protection sports and may consider adding others if brought to the
breeder’s attention:
French Ring
Mondio Ring
Belgian Ring
Campagne
Schutzhund
KNPV
NAPD
-
$30.00 Can. or $25.00 U.S. for other working dog titles
up to a maximum of three. Currently the breeder recognizes the following
working dog titles and may consider adding others if brought to the breeder’s
attention:
Herding
Hog
Baying
Treeing
Tracking
-
$20.00 Can. or $15.00 U.S. for most other titles up
to a maximum of three. Currently the breeder recognizes the following titles
and may consider adding others if brought to the breeder’s attention:
Obedience
Conformation
Agility
Please
clarify rebates with the breeder before titling a dog.

Did you know? Some competitions do not require a dog
to be shown intact. Let Dragon Xanctum know what intentions you have for your
puppy. You may find that you can spay/neuter and compete with your dog too!
·
Dragon Xanctum is also looking for Catahoula
enthusiasts from B.C., Alberta, and Saskatchewan that would like to take part
in a Catahoula Playday weekend and be a part of the beginning of the Western
Canadian NALC chapter.
Contact Dragon Xanctum to find out more about these dogs or to reserve a puppy from a future litter. Support an ethical breeder – not a puppy mill!
Adoption: For those who are willing to give an animal a second chance. These animals may require extra medical care or training, and their previous homes may have been less than ideal, but these animals are willing to try if you are.
Animals currently available for adoption: There are always Catahoulas and Malinois rescues in need of good homes. Please contact me for the latest ones available.
Lease: For those who want to be a part of an animal’s life, but perhaps do not have the facilities, schedule or financing to look after an animal full time. Schools that close for the summer months would be included in this category.
Animals currently available for lease: ***Reserve a bunny from an upcoming litter of Harlequin Rabbits***
